Crazy Horse Memorial - is the one of the most fascinating sculpture projects undertaken ever in the world. It is a mountain monument that is under construction and has been in progress since 1948. Because of the vastness of the project no completion date has been determined. The sculpture of Crazy Horse is developed in order to honor the history of the Native American Indians.

Harney Peak is also another attraction seen in the east. It measures 7,242 above sea level, one of the highest pinnacles ever.

You will find here Sturgis, the home of the yearly Black Hills Classic Motorcycle Rally. Also worth seeing is the Black Elk. It has a total land area of 9,824 acres where wildlife is highly preserved and maintained. It is okay for public viewing and visiting.

Hot Springs' Mammoth site has the biggest concentration of the Woolly Columbian Mammoth's bones that was even discovered in its original context form.
